These custom canvas portraits are designed to be statement pieces. Painted in an expressive, layered style with subtle texture and depth, brush strokes appear more loose. Each portrait features a hand-painted solid color background that complements the photo of your pet. Available in a wide range of sizes, All portraits are painted on thick 2” gallery-wrapped canvases, which are ready to lean on a shelf or hang directly on your wall.

Hand-painted on paper for a more minimal, timeless look. These portraits feature the natural white of the paper as the background (no painted background), allowing the focus to stay on your pet. While still artistically expressive, this style includes more refined brushwork and smaller details.
Portraits are made to be framed in a frame of your choice, though custom framing is available as an add-on. For framing, I also source and thrift antique frames—pairing your portrait with a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that feels even more special.

The quality of your reference photo plays a huge role in the final piece—so choosing the right one matters!
Clear & not blurry: Crisp details help me capture your pet accurately
Straight-on angle: Photos taken at eye level work best (avoid shots from above)
Good lighting: Natural light is best—avoid harsh shadows or filters
Focus on the face & chest: Especially the eyes, expression, and unique markings
True-to-life colors: Choose photos that reflect your pet’s real fur coloring
Pose & personality: Pick a photo with an expression that feels like them

✓ These are both great reference photos! They’re well-lit with no harsh shadows, taken straight on, clear, and capture their expressions nicely.
✓ These also work really well, if you are wanting more of a side profile angle instead of straight-on, which I love!
X These aren’t the best angle, and the quality is a bit blurry, which leaves more details open to interpretation. I’d recommend asking for additional photos!
